Ward Buddy Volunteer (Brixham Hospital)

Come and join our amazing team. As a Ward Buddy Volunteer, you will enhance the quality of patient care by offering comfort, support, compassion and friendliness, helping create a social atmosphere. Sitting and chatting with patients and engaging in agreed social activities to encourage social interaction. Reporting any concerns to the nurse in charge and acting as a link between patients and staff.

Brixham Ward is a 20-bedded unit, caring for predominantly Older Adults who require rehabilitation following orthopaedic, surgical and medical admissions. They also provide palliative and End of Life care.
